=) im gonna post this picture again! haha cos its hilarious how my msn display picture(the one shown below) becomes a very hot topic and suddenly people who seldom talk to u msgs u and asks if that guy beside u is your bf ! haha but in fact that is my brother! and yes we are very close siblings =) its just ridiculous how people on your list that dun talk to u suddenly gets so interested in your life .. how perculiar.

so enuff of explanation i went to watch forbidden city last night with my parents =) it was pretty good but i dunno issit cos i was quite sleepy so certain parts i nearly fell asleep! kudos to kit chan for her superbly good voice and hossan leong's humour, great entertainment man!

this morning was so busy with my sup's experiment ! free labour! we cudnt even go for lunch till pretty late man.. sighh when we thought we could slack, the work just keeps coming in! =( nothing to look forward right now in my life man, its just stagnant - wake up go to work lunch work come home slack sleep nothing else exciting.

i think jay chou's song 菊花台 is very nice , its like set in the 1960s era =) very nostalgic but hor i wasnt born at that time so ermm im old fashioned? lol

havent met sam and sue for sometime and pol for an even longer time! hope they 'll doing great man and of cos samm study hard allrighty! look forward to our trip to HK after i graduate!!! =) and sueee KL isnt that dangerous i think =) psycho ur mum and dun get that NUM bag for goodness sake!!

routinee

every morning i come to work first thing i do is to set up my lappie!



then i'll go to the lab and change this stupid solvent!



then!! i go back to office table and have my daily breakfast ( so much so for not supposed to eat) haha i cant stand boredom so a cup of hotty milo and wholemeal crackers -only 3pieces!



then i'll start my daily word puzzles



and then abt 11 odd i'll go for lunchie tillllll around 1 plus =D hahahaa and then its back to office to stone again and more word puzzles

so if u're interested in my life which i know none of u are.. thats how it goes everyday like a routine la.. sighh

oh! the only juicy story is that my brother has a girl friend!! muahahaha it was nt exactly shocking la cos he always confides in me! but i didnt know he acted fast man goood jobbie bro! =)
im going to watch forbidden city with my parents tomorrow =)) yipppies like finally! aiya i wonder wads the purpose for blogging when i have nothing much to blog about actually.

Under the same sky

I got an sms from a friend of mine. It is those smses which people forward to others, which contain messages of goodwill.

So the message went something like: If you ever feel lonely, look up at the sky and I'm under the very same sky wishing the best for you.

How often do we look up at the sky whenever the day has been a bad one and you just feel like crap? Do we realise that there are people under the same sky who may be in the same predicament as us? Do we realise that our friends are also under the same sky wishing the best for us? Do we realise that the people whom we can't afford to disappoint are also under that very same sky?

Oh well I don't think I'm making sense here.

This is based on a true story.........it's very touching. You must take a few minutes to read... Enjoy...

A rich businessman had a beautiful daughter, who fell in love with a guy who was a cleaner.When the girl's father came to know about their love, he did not like it at all, and so began to protest about it.

Now it happened that the two lovers decided to leave their homes for a happy future. The girl's father started searching for the two lovers but could not find them.At last, he accepted their love andasked them to come back home in a local newspaper. Her father said, "If you both come back I will allow you to marry the guy you love, I accept that you loved each other truly."So in this way, their love won and they returned home.

The couple went to town to shop for the wedding dress. That day, he was dressed in white shirt. The heat that day was unbearable, so he decided to visit the shop opposite to get some drinks for his wife-to-be. While he was crossing the road, a car came from nowhere, hit him and he died on the spot, right before the bride's eyes. The girl lost her senses completely.

It was only after some time that she recovered from her shock.The funeral and cremation was the very next day because he had died horribly.

Twonights later, the girl's mother had a dream in which she saw an old lady. The old lady asked her mother to wash the blood stains of the guy from her daughter's dress as soon as possible. But her mother ignored the dream, brushing it off totally.The next night her father had the same dream, he also ignored it.

Then when the girl had the same dream the next night, she woke up in fear and told her mother about the dream. Her mother asked her to wash the clothes which have blood stains immediately.She washed the stains but some remained.

Next night she again had the same dream she again washed the stains but some still remained.Next night she again had the same dream and this time the old lady gave her a last warning to wash the blood stain, or else something terrible will happen. This time the girl tried her best to wash the stains, and the clothes nearly tore, but some stains still remained. She was very tired and broke down in tears, clearly missing her dead husband.

In the late evening the same day while she was alone at home, someone knocked the door. When she opened the door she saw the same old lady ofher dream standing at her door. She got very scared and fainted.

The old lady woke her up... and gave her a blue object, which shocked the girl. She asked "What is this...?"




To which the old lady replied..."Try DYNAMO Liquid Soap ... just a dab and it will remove all stubborn stains!!!" ...

i think this whole damn ending was freaking anti climax pls! my gooodness!

went to marina with mummy and bro for lunch and then met serene and jinny for some shopping =) bought a top from forever 21! hahaha and the girl recognise me! haha it was quite a funny thing.. met yunfeng for dinner caught up with him came home and im tired.

its the weekend!

Yay! its the weekend! =) i didnt do anything much today except change the solvent for the dialysis tubings

so as i was very bored i went round snooping in the lab and taking loads of pictures but im just gonna upload them bit by bit ok =D be patient!

this is my work bench the area where most of the bench workie is done =)) messy isnt it but its not my fault!!



my goodness a fridge in a labb!!

hahaha okays that pretty lame but we do store chemicals in a fridge.. but the weirdest thing is that they arent gonna be dangerous at room temperature so i have no clue why they wanna put them in the fridge =(( waste electricity!

next up one of the fume hoods =) but as usual its super messy in there and there's 4 different things going on inside too. The different tubings are different air supplies to the chemical reactions =)



anyways the facilities department downstairs is open later! and thats where all the pens and post pads are kept!! so later im gonna go downstairs and "kope" hahaha how auntie i can be man!! hahaha so funny!

oh did i mention today we wanted to get free milo again! but then the milo van drove off already cos every thing was finished!! so the auntie-ness is sooooo getting into me right now

report report

reached office earlier today and i got started doing my report sighh hate this kinda stupid stuff and as usual there wasnt anything to do at work again! finished the report around lunch time and then off we go =) went for alittle shopping at the bazaar again and free milo! look how auntie we have become!! everyday going all the way down there just to get free milo! aiyo all dandan's fault lol =)

sorry sue! cudnt make it for dinner today make it up to u eh =)) promise! and sam glad u didnt okayy for prelims!! and im sure u'll improve too =) jiayou !

went back after lunch and then we slacked i think, altho i cant remember what i did but yeah it was nothing and as usual our felt our brain cells slowly dying offf, maybe its apoptosis haha wad a joke brain cells killing themselves committing suicide.. went into the lab to add 1.109grams of cholestrol into our mixture did some dialysis again then it was off work time!

if everyday goes on like that i'll just drop dead and die on the floor due to unnatural reasons or rather its natural when ur cells start to die! ahhh but i hope we will get busy as the project goes on.. weird right ppl wanna slack and i wished i was busy.

wednesday!

wahh today is a crappy day!! i went to work late today cos i had something on.. reached work at 1pm =) ate macs in office then dandan called me to meet her at central library for free milo!!?? haha how auntie i am!! ( sam see this, i heeded ur advice!)

then we walked around the bazaar there bought a couple of things =)) happy happy! haha then went back office like at 3 plus.. tea break.. then went into the lab for 5mins and the day ended?! like what the shit right i shudnt even have gone back!! waste my time only ! hahaha but oh well what to do life's like that eh!

monday blues

went to the gym to work out today at office since i had plenty of free time =)

treadmill: walked 10mins jogged 15mins and then walked 10mins
some sorta cycling/skiing machine: 10mins(freaking tiring)

exercising after 3 years sure kills man! i am damn tired and my legs feel weird.Its as if they don't belong to me at all.

we didnt even do anything at work today , if i knew i wudnt even have gone there la! waste time only.. all i did was my word puzzles and gym and more word puzzles. How fun can that be

we were always discussing how auntie we should become so we went into ntuc and i told her we must remember the prices of the vegetables and fruits and everything so we can compare prices next time can get ready for our future auntie lives. how nice can that be. but i think we should go to the wetmarket, then we can bargain prices then we will be more auntie!!right sam? =)

i think i was freaking bored this afternoon! then sue called and i immediately exclaimed:"are u gonna date me!"haha how stupid can i get.. she only wanted to know the way to tiong bahru market!!! =(( i was damn sad la then sam called and i was on my way out the next moment.

so as usual my day is boring !! anyways yesterday after dinner with sue and sam , we all went to big bookshop cos we had to waste 45mins for sue .. so i quickly got what i was looking for!!! crossword puzzles to ease my boredom at work =)



so today Dr Koh came to visit us and fortunately he didnt ask us very difficult questions =) it was rainin so heaivily and still is , so we cudnt go out for lunch! zhiyuan and jerome were such nice guys ! they went to dabao lunch for us and got drenched really badly even tho they had umbrellas and their shoes soaking wet!! but nonetheless we were all very touched. They bought food for like 10 ppl!! my goodness poorrrr things

ahhh so its freeeezing cold now and im gonna do my crossword puzzles! hehheh.

thursday!

so the whole morning i did this whole damn thing..pouring hexane in and letting it drip out and collecting about a few flasks and then check for the compound we want in some chromatographic step. lame stuff and it took us whole morning! deprived us of lunch too! sigh.. what a bad start to
a day ..



at least i can look forward to dinner with sam and sue =)

13sept

As i sit in the office lazing my time away after lunch, i realised how much have i forgotten about some of my good frends. Like isabelle! i havent spoke to her or seen her in ages. It's amusing how im working in nus and i dun get to see any one from st margts at all.

Well i met christine at the bus stop ! it was awkward cos i didnt know what to say, once we were pretty close and now it seems like we're strangers and have absolutely nothing to talk about. As i stood there waitin for the bus, time seem to have stood still and the silence was a killer too! when the bus finally came it was sucha relieve.

had lunch and a great talking session with jerome,zhiyuan and dan =) very funny and lame stuff we talked about. I often wonder what am i doing at work all day long, like today i went into the lab at 9am,did some weighing and then up till now im still slacking and doing nothing at all. I dun think i even have a clue what my project is all about too! its nerve wrecking cause its an extremely important thing and yet i dun exactly give a damn about it! life in poly isnt exactly smooth sailing. Like i always told my friends that i regretted going to college cos it was a much easier route for me to become a teacher but i ask myself at times, will i be able to even score in college if i cant even get a decent grade in poly now.. that is why i feel so dumb and silly!

sigh, life just gets worse everyday since im in sucha stupid situation and workplace. i've got no life at all.

and now i have to get back to doing some dumb logbook of mine =( and dandan's complaining that looking at it for a long term would definitely make her eyes go bad. heh heh.

boringg

Just when i decided not to bring my lappie to work, it turned out to be an awfully boring day! and i only had neil humpfrey for companionship and of cause my beloved nipz =)



reading thru his book made me realised that most singaporeans take our homes for granted but it actually is quite a rather good place to live in if there is lesser stress i guess =) but in fact foreigners kinda love living in our country and we often wonder why eh ?

tau kwa has left ! =(( its so weird that he's only coming back next june and i am definitely gonna demand a huge birthday gift ( if u're reading this ,u better get the hint!) he not calling to boo me or ask me why i whatever and orh him seems so weird! but i guess i have to get used to it =)

looking forward to lunch tml with tony and yiwei and our usuals =) at least work isnt that dreadful cos im always looking forward to lunch time and wondering what should i eat! so all i ever do is think of what to eat and where everyday of my life. How wun-da-fool.

monday blues

woahs, i think its the funniest and stupidest monday i ever had.

Zhiyuan,Jerome,Dan and me went to techno edge for lunchie and stuff so after that we were feeling quite bored and so we all decided to explore the central library area ! so there's someting going on at their atrium . People selling foodstuffs and all so we saw this guy grilling the sausages and reading comics at the same time! so dan dan and i felt it was quite a funny sight and i decided to tell zhiyuan about it! but instead i told him something absurd " Zhiyuan! you see tat guy, he's grilling comics and reading the sausage!" my goodness upon realising that i burst out laughing and teared , i wondered what came over my mind ( maybe the hot disastrous weather eh)

bah bah.

so since i am so bored i decided to take some pictures of my lab =) so this is the work bench where all the stuff is done before putting elsewhere ( fumehood etc)



this is what i managed to do this morning =) mixing some chemicals together and leaving it in the fume hood to stir at room temp for at least 30hours . I still have no idea why must the flask be immersed with oil maybe its to maintain the temperature eh ?





And finally this idiotic black thing that scares me and my partner always. I dunno this is class what fume hood la but inside contains dangerous chemicals so the person dealing with it must use that pair of blackies provided ! so when no one is using , it looks like that in the picture. The reason why we're both scared of it is becos every few mintues it emits some weird sound the that pair of blackies shoots up slightly! and we were victims of it =(

overwhelming

Due to the overwhelming response of wanting to see how does nipz's body looks like..here's a picture of it. Sigh, i didnt know my baby boy attracted so many perverts into wanting to know how sexy he is =)

boring saturday..

currently hooked on this korean drama called Princess Hours/Goong =) quite comical and interesting. After watching this i'll go get the season 2 =) hahaha

so i went to town this afternoon and realised that they are already preparing to close the orchard underpass so forever 21 is like slightly chopped off and the face shop had moved somewhere too. Mummy and i had our eyes on this bag but it costs $53 so i decided not to get it since i have no need for any bags now. She didnt find anything in f21 too but i managed to get a top and also a necklace =) it looked nice on me and something different from the tops i have so i decided to get it and anyways mummy paid!

since daddy didnt have golf today, we went to have lunch at ichiban boshi and today we managed to spin that fortune wheel thing for some vouchers cos we used up the card they gave us.. none of us dared to spin cos it was a really heavy responsibility! so my brave brother decided to take the chance and we managed to get a $20 voucher. Well, better than nothing right!

i'm catching The Host later with my brother at tiong =) we've been watching quite a few shows recently! but we used our dad's card cos HSBC has $1 off each ticket!! haha so in the end we didnt pay for anything at all =) heh heh heh how evil we both are!

a new chapter

I'm officially back to blogging after much persuasion by suelin =) when i constantly complain my boredom and she has to take all the suffering of my naggy-ness =D

I remembered i ended havenofjo a couple of months ago due to unhappy memories and also due to plain laziness

School ended about 2 weeks back and i have since started my attachment at A*Star.However i've got no pay from them at all!!Ngee ann's gonna give us $350 per month for the effort that we put in but that amount definitely sucks big time cos its awfully cheap cheap cheap labour! On a better note, the only thing i look forward to everyday is lunch time =) where i can get to use my brain functions to think of what i should get. Apart from that, i doubt i use my brain at all during work cos there's absolutely nothing to do!

And and and i realised how much i detest china people. they are just awfully rude and have some bloody attitude problem la. I've been complaining to sam abt it and she asked me to act more china auntie than them,must snatch! haha wad a funny girl, she must be all stressed up abt prelims and the coming A's

I'm sad to say that the beginning of this blog would be full of my complains at work =)

Because I have not much of a life, i decided to adopt a little child called nippy nose fong ( name contributions by sue) in shorts call him nipz =) he's born on 2nd sept and has yet to make any new frends, evil sam does not let gush gush be his friend! how sad can that be!
