before dinner my mum and i went to the metro 20% sale storewide (good for cosmetics as you know, cosmetics do not, i say again, DO NOT have sales!)

so i bought my eye cream and perfume and lipstickkk and boy,the queue was madness! we queued for ONE HOUR just to pay for our stuff!! LOOK at the crowd



we visited canton-i again b4 picking my dad up at the airport! its super duper overpriced and when the bill came it was a shocking revelation! we concluded that its best for one dish meals only and not for many dishes to shareee

managed to meet up with dan last night! she went back to china for a month to visit her family!


she was telling me about her match making experience and how the guy was actually quite a jerk! luckily she doesn't like him , if not i think i'll slap her to wake her up too! dinner at sushi tei and coffee session at pacific coffee was enjoyable, of cos the topics always revolved around LIFE and WORK and sometimes BOYS.

we're always in the transition of what do we actually wanna do? is research really what we want? seriously , research isn't the best option if you dun get a phd and of cos what we really want to do in future is another question, but most imptly, you really have to get a degree (its the minimum one should have nowadays) , we both agreed at having a diploma is really useless, we wouldn't be surprised if road sweepers actually possess a diploma cert!

but then again, theres people who dont have proper education but are earning big bucks in life by doing own business! i'm not saying thats impossible but really, there aren't alot of them around either.

this is one of the photos of a good friend on my blackberry, and when i was going thru my pictures in the phone , i decided to put it as my wallpaper! it reminds me of lydia(wait a min, it is lydia!), that cra-ra-zee woman i knew in aussie =) i loved this picture taken on my 21st birthday at guyatt park, shows how whacky a girl she is! i miss you lydz(is ur reading this) and although we don't talk as much as we should/do i still think of you as often and i thank God that we became friends =)) love you!


on another sidenote, i had alittle supper with sam earlier on at coffee club
not very nice country pie or strawberry soda but a pretty hot siao dingdong babe in front of me did the trick! Love you too!

Just remember, that whatever you give, will be given back to you in return- in abundance, in grace, more than you could ever ask or think. Perhaps not in the way you demand, perhaps in a painful, longsuffering way, but surely in the best, and most beautiful way, in God's time.

it was pretty awesome catching up with old time secondary school friends and ultimately realizing we didn't change much but of cos that would be a lie, i'm sure everybody has grown up in maturity but whenever we're all placed together, we're brought back in time!

yesterday we had a makeover session for xiaoyang! we were at uniqlo where when i went to check how his fittings were,i discovered the pair of shoes outside and i was so amused i quickly called rachel in and we started laughing really loudly! we thought xiaoyang was so obiang and suaku that he left the shoes outside to try on his pants but we realised later on there was a sign saying " remove shoes before fittings" kekekeke


he looks so much!! better than his normal look after alittle transformation!

sigh it has been an absolutely tiring week and yesterday was a 2hr plus argument with the boss in a combined lab meeting voicing out our unhappiness but she still doesnt get the point cos whatever we said has been twisted! so im jus gonna work , take the money and go! so many ppl this week commented how tired and how i have aged this week =( SIGH
