saigon and simpsons!

i went to catch the muscial Miss Saigon today with my housemates and some neighbours, i thought it was a slight disappointment! like u know how angmohs are supposedly more cultured and all, but their theatre sucked! sound system was quite bad and i didnt like the muscial that much cos sometimes i cant make out what the hell are they singing, no subtitles provided either! unlike forbidden city which was shown in singapore, it was awesome!

i went to catch simpsons later on with the girls and also my bro's frends but most of the time we 4 were in our own worlds and they cant seem to be bothered abt our prescence either! simpsons was also over rated by my hsemates! i thought it was gonna be uber funny but then yeahs , maybe i was expecting too much already

on south bank, just outside the cinema, they had some festival going on such as breakdancing, bollywood dance which was so NOT bollywood, hawaii dance and also some flamingo dancers of some sort la, didnt take much of them cos they werent exactly interesting! but yeahs =) pictures up! enjoy!!

outing to chinatown city and then for alittle gathering =)

i managed to grab a skirt for 10aud!!! and my dress for 60 =( pocket burnt, no more shopping!

assignments are pouring in like no body's business!!

and guess what, on our way home, we met the ngee ann poly sch of life sciences director in campus! she's here on a meeting and also holiday! haha it was kinda shocking cos we never thought we would actually meet her here!

oh well, going straight into year 3 saves alot of time but super stressful =( im already feeling it after the 2nd day of school!

first day of school

First day of school and i had 5 hours of lectures 4 different modules at one go from 8am to 1pm!

my tummmy was rambling like crazy hahahaha!

ok so i offcially dropped pharmao and switched to applied and molecular parasitology

so now my modules are all sorta linked to each other

majoring in microbiology and my subjects are

microbes and human health

ecology of dieases

applied and molecular parasitology

microbial biotechnology

first 3 are very much linked together so i hope its gonna be much easier =)) and they have the same lecturers! and luckily they are ppretty humourous

campus is huge and everything is so spread out, walked like shit explored the places and managed to find the lecture halls in time!

see what a big change in my timetable after i dropped pharmaco? =) PHEW

USS kitty hawk!

We went to take a look at the USS kittyhawk thats in brisbane b4 being decommisioned! haha interesting trip too bad we cudnt go up to the ship or else it be very magnificent! on board the ferry to Bretts Wharf and then we took a cab to the luggage point where the ship was! but there was a freaking jam! cabbed there cost like $60 AUD!! and the metre jumps every 3 1/2 seconds 10c each but when its stationary it doesnt jump so fast haha!
